SQL Server 2016 Launch

The official Australian launch of Microsoft SQL Server 2016 took place in Sydney on 24 June and Satalyst was fortunate to be part of the “Data Driven” event. With the 2016 Olympics underpinning the data in sports event theme, Satalyst showcased two cycling related solutions, both using SQL in Azure, IoT, and advanced data analytics.

Over 40 customers attended on the day from organisations across Corporate Accounts, Enterprise / Commercial and Public Sector customer base; including Allianz, ABC, Ausgrid, Cricket Australia, George Weston Foods, IAG, Macquarie Bank, MYOB, Origin Energy, Qantas, Pickles Auctions, QBE, Transport NSW, Telstra, William Hill and Sydney Water.
